Forbes announced the launch of its latest language edition titled, “ForbesHungary” in a corporate partnership with Business Consulting and Media along
with its Hungary associate and branch Mediarey KFT according to Forbes.com. The
content in the new language edition will consist of nearly 60% Hungarian
business news, commentaries and other features. The remaining content will
include editorial content from Forbes U.S edition. Like the U.S. edition,
Forbes Hungary will be published monthly and its first issue will launch in
November 2013.
Managing
Director, Erik Conrad, of Business Consulting and Media spoke to the media
saying, “We are proud to expand further in the region as well as bringing this
prestigious brand with its high quality and exclusive journalistic content to
another market in Central Europe. Now according to Forbes.com, Business
Consulting and Media long with its subsidiary, Mediarey KFT, also publish
Forbes Slovakia and Forbes Czech Republic. Forbes president of Worldwide
Development, Miguel Forbes stated their excitement for launching Forbes in
Hungary. “This continues our rapid expansion into Eastern Europe which has been
a huge strategic footprint for Forbes,” according to Miguel Forbes.
With this
strategy, Forbes could dominate at a high level for and continue to launch in
other countries very soon. It’ll be only a matter of time before Forbes becomes
fully international.
